Ingredients
Spicy Meat Sauce
- 1 cup minced meat
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 garlic clove
- 2 tsp Sprig Bhut Jolokia Sauce
- 2 cup tomato puree
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Sprig Black Pepper
- Salt
Savoury Pancake
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 large egg
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted, plus more for skillet
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions
Spicy Meat Sauce
- In a large saucepan, cook minced meat and onion over medium heat until mostly browned, for about 5 minutes; drain if desired
- Stir in garlic until fragrant, for about 30 seconds
- Add other ingredients and slow cook for 10 to 15 minutes
- The sauce is ready; add water if needed.
Savoury Pancake
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
- Add sugar, egg, melted butter to warm milk and mix well. Add this mixture to flour and make a batter. If needed add more milk.
- Heat a skillet and brush the skillet with melted butter. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the centre of the skillet and spread into a circular circle.
- Let it cook for a minute and you can see small bubbles forming on top. Flip it over and cook the other side for a minute. Serve immediately with spicy meat sauce.
