Alphonso mango is a seasonal fruit, considered to be among the most superior varieties of the fruit in terms of sweetness, richness and flavour. They have a rich, creamy, tender texture and are low in fibre content, with a delicate, creamy pulp. Complementing this is the Jalapeño which is a dark green (red when extra ripe) pepper and has a sweet flavour that is similar to a bell pepper with a kick. This unique sauce can be used as a salad dressing when mixed with vinegar or lime juice, a dipping sauce for fried sea food or as a glaze for chicken, fish or other meat.
